ABOUT

  • Dundee Lodge is an annual two day outdoor music and art festival on a historic wooded property in Gaston, Oregon (45 minutes from Portland, OR)

  • The property has a stage and groomed area for the event and we will have a professional sound company all weekend.

  • There will be food carts and a bar and encourage people to bring snacks for the weekend.

  • There will be very limited potable water available, please bring enough water for the whole weekend.

  • There will be primitive campsites available for all attendees located in designated areas on the property. Please be prepared for any weather conditions. It can get cold at night, hot in the day and potentially rain at any given moment.

  • Port o Potties, including one ADA, will be available on site as well as a hand washing station and sanitizer.

  • We will have a wellness tent set up with volunteer nurses on site for basic first aid.

  • There will be very little phone reception if any. If you have an emergency please notify the wellness tent and we will call 911 if needed.

  • Gaston is 10 minutes from the property where you can find cell service, wifi, an ATM, gas station, pub, brewery, mini-mart, and diner.

  • Absolutely no campfires or cigarette smoking outside the designated fire-pit area. Please pocket or leave butts in smoking receptacles. It gets extremely dry in the area and we have to take precautions to ensure the safety of the forest and the property. DO NOT THROW CIG BUTTS ON GROUND. Make sure all smoking is contained within pit stone area. Propane burners and cooktops are allowed to be used at your campsites for cooking.

  • Trash/Recycling: There is no trash or recycling service available on-site. Please pack in/out. Whatever you leave behind we will have to haul out on Sunday.

  • Please respect the neighbors and the property. The owners of the Dundee Lodge live in the lodge on the property. Please be mindful and courteous of their space.

  • No pets allowed on the property.

  • Paper tickets are available at Mississippi Records in Portland if you would like to avoid paying service fees! Limited amount. Mississippi Records is at 5202 N Albina Ave, Portland, OR.

  • Children 14 and under attend free.

  • Dundee Lodge Campout is 100% DIY, volunteer run no profit event. The event is organized by five individuals who do this for the love of art, music and community. Please support us by volunteering, helping us promote the event or donations of money or supplies/sponsorship. If you are able to support us financially please CLICK HERE. Donations of $25 or more will receive a DLC shirt and tote bag.

  • This year we will have an offsite parking lot on Patton Valley Road. There will be a free shuttle running from the front gate to the parking lot on Patton Valley Road. The shuttle will run from 11am-1am on Friday and Saturday. The shuttle will also run 10am-Noon on Sunday. Be prepared to haul your gear to a campsite on the lodge property. There will be a designated area on the Lodge property to drop off camping gear. After you drop off your gear the driver of the vehicle will then go to the Patton Valley Road lot and take the shuttle back to the Lodge Property.

  • Parking will be $15 per vehicle. The shuttle is free to all ticket holders with a parking pass. You can save money and help us save space by signing up for carpooling here.

  • Bicycles and motorcycles can park at campsites free of charge.

  • Please be mindful and look out for poison oak. Stick to cleared pathways.

MISSION STATEMENT

Dundee Lodge Campout is an annual outdoor music and art festival celebrating our rich, diverse, and creative communities. We utilize our own resourcefulness and do-it-yourself ethics to bring art and music lovers together for a weekend of camping and festivities. We operate as an all volunteer, labor of love, not for profit festival with a goal to be economically viable and ecologically sustainable. We are committed to upholding our ethics with a priority for equity, inclusion and support for artists. This event is All Ages and children are welcomed. The Campout is inspired by creative projects that push boundaries and speak to the complex nuances of the world by providing a platform for artists creating on the fringes of dominant culture.

ACCESSIBILITY

If you or anyone you know needs any accommodations or assistance please contact us and we will make arrangements for parking near the lodge, reserve a nearby campsite and provide any assistance or temporary ramp or accessibility needed. Terrain on the property is all accessible and the performance area and Lodge are relatively flat but hilly, rocky and inclined in some surrounding areas especially the path to the lake and camping spots. We will be providing an ADA port o potty on site. Please contact us if you have any questions or need more information.
